In this day and age, announcing the birth of your child is just an email away. If you are so inclined, you can send an email within minutes of the birth of your baby to hundreds of folks all over the world, complete with pictures and videos galore. Or you can publish a weblog, solely dedicated to your little one.
However, if you prefer the more traditional method, you might want to have baby birth announcements cards made. There are tons of online shops offering this printing service, and there are lots of designs and lay-outs to choose from (so many, that it might be a good idea to start browsing a few weeks before your baby is due!). Most would have a quick turnover, so you'll get your orders within a day or so.
Or, if you are computer-savvy, you can also print some yourself. You can have them prepared beforehand, and then fill in the details of the birth (date, name, etc) and attach a picture later on. You can also then personalize each announcement as you wish with a short message to each recipient if you wish.
