Pre-Conception

I know from experience that raising a son is no walk in the park. Am not saying that a daughter would have been easier, but it seems that more and more data are being unearthed that indicates just how much of a toll it takes to have a son. Take for example an article from BBC which discusses data indicating that having an older brother may reduce one's fertility.
Another study says even showed that having a twin brother can reduce his female twin's chances of having children.
Wow, who would have thought that having a older brother can have such an impact. I wonder how much of the "trauma" is really physiological, or is it perhaps psychological?

They found that both men and women, whose mother had previously produced a son, produced and raised fewer children than those born to mothers who had previously produced a daughter. Children with an older sister had 12% more children.
Another study says even showed that having a twin brother can reduce his female twin's chances of having children.
Women were 25% less likely to have children if their twin was male, the study found.
Wow, who would have thought that having a older brother can have such an impact. I wonder how much of the "trauma" is really physiological, or is it perhaps psychological?
