When it comes to maternity wear, I usually go for practical pieces as I know I won't be able to wear them much once I give birth. However, there are times you'd need a more formal piece for dinners, parties, or other events. In cases like these, I'd rather get a Lacy top like this Lace-Trim Jersey Maternity Top by Cadeau Maternity than a dress. At $250, t's almost as pricey as a dress, but at least, paired with a jeans or casual slacks, you can wear it in more casual affairs, too.
