NY Marathon Winner Trained Through Pregnancy
paula Radcliff, who won theNew York City Maratohon held last Sunday. That is an amazing feat, considering that she just gave birth in January! She never stopped training despite pregnancy. In fact, she resumed training just 12 days after giving birth!
For the first five months she ran twice a day, 75 minutes in the morning and 30 to 45 minutes in the evening. Then she cut back, running an hour in the morning and riding a stationary bike at night. She even did training regimens such as hill repeats - repeatedly running up hills to build strength and endurance.

I do agree that keeping fit and exercise is important -no, make that crucial - during one's pregnancy, but very few are up to such levels. Remember though that she's a well-trained athlete, and if the body has been used to such rigorous work-out prior to pregnancy, there's no reason why she should suddenly stop during pregnancy.

For us mortals, though, it's best to listen to our bodies and consult our doctors. More about Radcliff's athletic pregnancy from the Telegraph.
