When I broached the subject of belly dancing during pregnancy with some of my friends, they were a bit, well honestly, grossed out. I still think it's a cool work-out option, though. Not convinced? Here's an excerpt from the Prenatal Bellydance DVD.

The moves don't look that awkward or difficult, although I'm sure I won't look as graceful as that. There may be some positions which will difficult to keep balance if you're not used to it, so be careful and don't push yourself. At the end of the day, what is important is that you enjoy the activity and get positive happy-hormones running!
