Raspberry leaf tea is a popular herbal remedy that is believed to help during labor, delivery and the healing period thereafter. There are indeed scientific studies that appears to back these claims, but the available data are not that solid.
There are no clear guidelines regarding how much and when it is safe to drink raspberry leaf tea, but studies indicate that it is probably safe for mother and baby when taken after 28 to 32 weeks of pregnancy. In other words, even if raspberry leaf tea is believed to aid in fertility and ease morning sickness, most practitioners do not recommend it during the earlier stages of pregnancy. Please consult your doctor for medical advise.
