I've been browsing at Amazon for some Christmas gift shopping and somehow I stumbled across this pregnancy book: The Mother of All Pregnancy Books: The Ultimate Guide to Conception, Birth, and Everything In Between

The Mother of All Pregnancy Books

How could this slipped my radar? The book got 153 customer reviews over in Amazon, 103 of which gave the book a five star rating. Looking at the table of contents, what I appreciate most about this book is the extensive discussion it allotted to pre-conception: Are you really ready to have a baby- financially, emotionally, age and career-wise? What can you do to increase your chances of conceiving? How should you prepare yourself for pregnancy?

Author Ann Douglas also discussed topics in this book that you rarely see taken up in other pregnancy books: infertility, high-risk pregnancy, miscarriage and infant loss- issues she herself has had to deal with.
