What's In Store for the Next Nine Months

Pregnancy is such a broad subject and there are a myriad of things I'd like to tackle and share and talk about with all you moms and moms-to-be out there. So to organize this a bit and so that it'd be easier to look for stuff for future reference, I thought of classifying my entries into categories.

Since I know that most moms will look for posts that relates to their current condition, I'll be labelling my entries where appropriate as to which trimester it applies to: First Trimester, Second Trimester or Third Trimester. And then, there would be issues about:

• Pre-Conception - conceiving, preparing for pregnancy


• Maternity Fashion - what to buy when, and where


• Health and Fitness -medical conditions, nutrition, exercises, personal care


• Tools and Gadgets- not just for the mom, but for the babe, too


• Pregnancy Tests -pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, genetic tests


• IVF and Assisted Pregnancies - procedures, ethics, modern technology


• Infanticipating Dads - hey it's his baby, too!


• Getting Ready for Birth - packing lists, birth plans, finding a doula, etc


• Post-natal - because it doesn't stop at birth


• Careers- pregnancy in the workplace, maternity benefits


• Unwanted Pregnancies


• Online Resources - forums, support groups, online magazines, blogs
