Woman Gives Birth to 18th Child

A 44-year old Romanian immigrant in Canada has given birth to her 18th child.
I grew up in a largely Catholic community myself where artificial contraceptive methods are frowned upon, and people are basically encouraged to "go forth and multiply". Religious beliefs aside, however, I personally don't think my body can handle 18 live births, not to mention the mental and financial capacity required to adequately nurture such a huge family. Two is more than enough for me, thank you very much.
"We never planned how many children to have. We just let God guide our lives, you know, because we strongly believe life comes from God and that's the reason we did not stop the life," said Alexandru Ionce.But 18?!? I can hardly imagine having so many kids; I can't even cope with 2!
